I had an very nice stay at the Viceroy Santa Monica. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I particularly loved the chic décor and the fantastic ocean views from my room. However, I did notice some minor inconveniences, like a bit of noise from adjacent rooms and the fact that key amenities like coffee weren't always readily available in the room.
